Lora Vail French is a high-energy senior litigation attorney with more than 30 years of experience. Lora’s practice encompasses all aspects of civil litigation in federal and state courts, with significant experience in employment law, business litigation, medical malpractice, and catastrophic injury cases. Her robust trial experience and extensive background in handling all pre-trial aspects of litigation provide her with the tools and expertise necessary to efficiently and effectively represent the interests of her clients. Prior to joining Kraeber Law Office in 2019, Lora defended exclusively corporate clients in civil suits.
Drawn to the field of law by her keen sense of fairness and justice, Lora helps clients put a voice to their side of the story. Among her many strengths is her litigation skills, having mediated, arbitrated, and taken the lead on thousands of civil cases in and out of court. She values the long-term relationships she builds with employer clients, counseling and educating them proactively, as a trusted advisor, about the complicated and constantly changing field of employment law to help them remain compliant and avoid legal action. She consistently works hard to provide her clients with the most efficient and economical approach to resolving their legal issues.
The employment law landscape is fraught with complexities and constant regulatory updates. It is impossible for every employer to remain current on every new or amended law. It’s rewarding to work with businesses, many of whom are operating without HR departments, to develop and implement policies and procedures that support compliancy and strengthen their businesses.
A lifelong resident of California, Lora graduated Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude from the University of California, Riverside, with a dual B.A. in political science and law and society. She attended law school at the University of San Francisco graduating cum laude and Order of the Coif. Over the years, Lora has been a member of the Defense Research Institute, Association of Defense Council of Northern California, and American Inns of Court. She is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of California, as well as the Northern and Eastern United States District Courts and the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
