Karen Lynch

Karen Lynch has been practicing law since 2000 in the areas of civil litigation, employment law, business law, and energy law. Having joined Kraeber Law Office in 2016, Karen now focuses on employment matters, including wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, discrimination, and harassment, and on advising clients on the ever-changing landscape of California employment law and compliance. She also drafts and analyzes employment contracts, severance agreements, confidentiality agreements, and employee handbooks.

Brought up in a family of attorneys, Karen was exposed to the joys and challenges of the field of law at an early age. Of her many strengths, Karen is keenly adept at logically and methodically analyzing problems, doing the research, crafting the arguments, and developing tailored and creative solutions through the application of the law to specific scenarios.

She began her legal career at the global firm of White & Case in its Los Angeles and San Francisco offices, and quickly developed an appreciation for the vast and complex area of California employment law, drawn to helping real people with real problems—boots on the ground. She found a natural fit working with clients on cases related to their jobs, businesses, and livelihoods where she could make a significant impact on their lives. In her current work at Kraeber Law Office, Karen is now enjoying a boutique office environment where she practices a blend of both employer and employee representation, fostering close relationships with her clients.

Karen was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and moved to southern California to attend UCLA, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. After working in television marketing and production, she attended law school at the University of Notre Dame. Karen was an editor of the Notre Dame Law Review, spent a year studying abroad in London, and graduated magna cum laude in the top 10% of her class.
